Planned maintenance — network infrastructure

VISIT will carry out planned maintenance on firewall infrastructure during this window,
chosen as the lowest-traffic period of the week.

Brief interruptions are expected. As part of the work we will switch traffic to a redundant
firewall node and back again couple of times, to verify that failover works correctly. Each switchover will cause a short interruption of a few seconds to a few minutes, and active sessions may need to
be re-established.

Services are expected to recover automatically. No action is required from you, though you
may need to sign in again or retry a request that was in progress.

The work improves resilience by restoring a redundant firewall pair.
